Florida.

A girl I know in a Florida prison has been hearing her case talked about as a "Green Case" by Classifications. Neither of us know what that means. Does anyone know what a "Green Case" is?

Usually, when a case is referred to like that, it means that there may be similarities between her case and another... in this case someone named "Green".

There are several "Green Case" possibles in Florida. It is not possible for anyone on this forum to 'guess' what similarities might exist between them.

Green Case answered.

I found out what a Green Case is by calling the Dept. of Corrections. Yes, you're right, it is a reference to case law. It refers to someone who has been to prison, released to probation with time left on the sentence then violated and sent back. In case anyone else has someone inside and hears that reference.
