What is the name of your state? Georgia

My boyfriend was buying a new house and asked me if i wanted to be on it. I said sure why not without really thinking about it. He was only at the stage of putting a bid in for the house and so he put my name on the form and was required to sign. He called me up and asked if it was ok for him to sign for me and i said yes. After thinking more about it i told him i didn't want to be a part of it and asked him to have my name removed. He called the real estate agent and told them i no longer wanted to be a part of the process. The agent took a few days to get back to him therefore the form wasn't redrawn up immediately. In the meantime, my parents found out about him signing for me and are now accusing him or forgery. They reported him to numerous departments concerning the issue. Since him being reported the paperwork has been redone and my name was removed with no problem. There was no ill intent and he had my consent. Should i worry about these accusations that were set in action against him? Is this a punishable offense? Is it really forgery if I consented to him signing for me in the first place? Please help. ThanksWhat is the name of your state?
