What is the name of your state?

my husband's farther has used his ss #, now a judgement has shown up on my husbands credit rating. he also has a 100,000.00 default, apparently he co signed as a gruantee. i don't think he was severed. also am i protected ? could they go after me. we don't have anything jointly. no house either. how can i find out just was his dad has done to his credit, would a name search by a title company help?

i've found out that as long as we do not have joint property, i am protected, as far as the judgement and lien, bankruptcy or law suit, looks like bk :mad:
