Not familiar with "fraudgently"? If your refering to fraud, the feds never behave gently with that sort of thing.

But as far as the amount of money, lets see...

You could scan both sides of a one dollar bill and print it on plain white paper, trim it to size, then go out and buy a snickers bar with it, receive change from your bogus one dollar bill and succeed in gaining the involvement of the secret service AKA "Feds" for a grand total of one dollar, $1.00.

Or, you could attempt to rob a bank at gunpoint, run out to your getaway vehicle with a grand total of one cent, $.01 and the FBI aka Feds will go to great extremes to discover who took that penny. They wouldn't want you to return and get your hands on two cents the next time around and so on...

Now wouldn't it be stupid to be thinking back on this post at some time in the future, when your doing twenty to life in a federal penitentiary for carrying out the above examples? Of course it would. Would it be worth it? Not for the penny, but the snickers bar, well they are worth their weight in gold when your locked in a cage.

Did this reply satisfy the details your interested in, concerning a federal agency's involvement in financial crime?

Who's to say, because your question didn't provide a clue as to what it is, your actual concerns may be.

But in general, it's always best to avoid obtaining anything fraudulently, even if the feds aren't interested, the local boys can make more than enough problems for any illegal acts carried out in hopes of sudden wealth.
