Question

Fraud of a different type?

What is the name of your state? missouri
i have made a few posts all along the same theme - but my friends keep telling me to keep asking - because they seem to think it is a crime or fraud to make up a name and then go on the internet and pretend to be that person who was made up and to get gifts sent to them under the made up name

Oh no it's perfectly legal to say you're Jim Smith of Help The Humanity and recieve Donations for disasters and keep the "gifts".

What exactly are you planning on doing?

99% of the names people use on the internet are "made up" and 99.9% of the gifts you receive are in the form of SPAM

Who do you know that has been arrested for using a made up name?

So by continuosly asking the same question, your friends believe the answer and law will miraculously change??

Just accept that you lost a few bucks on a few gifts, and make damn sure that you learned your lesson to not waste money on total strangers that you've never met.
