A Dairy Farmer friend has a large manure pile. Apparently, at some point a worker dropped some seeds, which sprouted this year. My friend didn't know what they where, assuming they were bullrushes or other weeds. Frankly, he didn't even notice them until a task force showed up and charged him with growing with the intent to sell. (A scale was found in a worker's room along with a bag of pot. The worker quit without a word one day before the search warrant was issued.)
My friend refuses to hire himself a lawyerr because he is innocent. He has hired one for his friend that lives with him and who the farm is registered to. What can he do for himself? He was never arrested, but was charged with an initial court date of 11-15.
