What is the name of your state? NY

My question is if you plea-bargain a crime to like a public disorder charge. Then lets say you get caught for the same crime down the road. Will they know of your original crime or just what you plea-bargained it down to?

Can someone explain how this works? Because that would really suck to get caught again for the same crime and they know this is your second offence. So will a plea-bargain make them not know about your crime in the past and you can just plea it down again?

Ha ha ha, your funny. Of course their going to know about your previous run in with the law and all the details. And if you are still under any court supervision from your previous arrest, don't be surpised if the plea bargain is pulled and you suffer the consequenses for both arrests.

Son of Slam, you said that they would not know of your previous offense?

I thought if you plea bargain, and of course your not on any probation or anything, then they can't use against you what you orginally got arrested for.

Well what can you plea something down to where they keep no record of anything?
