Received a $3800 check , my friend cashed it on his bank only $2700 came to find out 20 days after the check was bad (Counterfeit) i signed over to him and he cashed on his account how much touble are me and him looking at ?????

I AM A VICTIM OF A SCAM

I have no clue what you are saying by "only $2700".

You owe the bank they money they gave you on the defective check.
They'll probably also charge a fee.

Provided you didn't do any of this knowing the check was fraudulent, you should not have any criminal liability.

Where did you get this check from?
