If someone has named me in interrogatories as "the other woman" which is not true during the course of their marriage, do I have grounds for a suit?

I know testimony cannot be used as grounds for slander, but I don't know the answer when it's questions in interrogatories. You can ask a lawyer in your state.

However, you have to prove damages beyond outraged/hurt feelings. I doubt you have any. Take some deep cleansing breaths and move on.

Robert Heinlein once wrote, 'A truly wise man can never be insulted, since the truth cannot insult and untruths are beneath his notice.' :D

This is not legal advice and you are not my client. Double check everything with your own attorney and your state's laws.
