Harrassment

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? ILLINOIS
I rented an apartment to a young lady on a month-to-month basis but quickly discovered it would not work. I took the lady to court for eviction. However, now they are harrassing me by phone, intimidated one tenant to move out and threats on my life. Can I sue this person for harrassment or criminally for damages?

what injury have you suffered, what do you want in damages? any reason to believe this person would act? that's a tough civil case IMO with just words, but you can report this to the police, in many jurisdictions [with superfun police and prosecutors] those kinds f calls are treated as "terroristic threats". You really want this person to possibly go to prison or you just want the calls to stop? A threat of litigation of a letter from a lawyer can take care of that, but unless you have suffered some severe emotional distress you really don't have a claim for damages
