I have a friend who's being harrassed by an exboyfriend...he hasn't threatened any kind of violence, but won't stop calling her. Despite the fact that he's married, he continually asks her to go away for the weekend, go to a hotel, etc. She continues to turn him down. Is there any legal recourse for this?

Ok, I found out that we do have a stalker law in California. What constitutes this? If he just calls her but doesn't make any kind of physical contact, will that hold up in court? How should she proceed?

Thanks for any help anyone can offer, he's driving her nuts.
