Harrassment & Restraining ORder

In New York State, my husband was arrested for aggrivated harrasment for using the phone too much in an argument...(only details I have unfortunately) the court issued a temporary restraining order until his next court appearance which is next week. My question is will the court issue another order, or will it be lifted since the person who had him arrested did not request the order and is not in any danger. It was not a physical harrasment charge, it was listed as aggrivated harrasment-telephone. Can anyone offer some answers please? I just want to have a clue as to what we can expect when we go back to court.

the court set up the order when they released him after spending the night in central booking.
