What is the name of your state? TN

I HOPE I am giving everyone who can help enough information...all that I say is the truth, I swear it!!

I was supposed to get my legal and authentic software back and the detective would not return it??? How can this be LEGAL?????

Here is the full story!!!

In May I was arrested for Trade Mark Goods, for buying Microsoft software off ebay and reselling it on and off ebay.....It seems that some of the items that I bought and that I sold were counterfeit without my knowing and Microsoft had me arrested. They make SO many types that I could not tell the differnce????

I ran an ad in the local aper and a man called me for over 4 months and then I met hime and sold him and his "buddy" some software 3-4 times......turns out that the men were 2 "undercover" Microsoft agents and they pretty much tricked me into spending ALL of my money on software, they told me they had their own computer company and after 3-4 visits of buying 3-4 pieces each time. The told me that they needed 100 pieces...it took me 3 weeks to get the stuff... I had to borrow most of the money to buy the stuff for the "supposed" deal. When I showed up to deliver the software to the guy, there were about 10 police cars, 2 detective cars and a head honcho from Microsoft....they arrested me and confiscated about 66 pieces of software.

I hired an attorney and after Microsoft had the software authenticated, finding they only found a small amount to be counterfeit......My lawyer and Microsoft and the DA made a deal that I hand over all of my records as to who I bought the software from and they would drop all of the charges and return my legal and authentic software...The deal stated that all charges were dismissed, I give ALL the info I had on where I got the software, and that I get all the legal and authentic software back!

We went before the judge and my lawyer got "on the record" stating the deal.....I would give my records to the Microsoft man, they would give me back my legitimate software on Monday.....and they would drop all charges against me because I was not who they were looking for......I was just not knowledgeable enough about the software and had sold some bad stuff.....We have a court date in a few months to be sure that both sides have done what they were suppose to do! My lawyer told me all was fine and sent me to the police station by myself and said I could handle the rest of it!

Well I went to the police station and gave my folder to the Microsoft man and went into great detail of all the knowledge I had on the people that I had bought the software from..... and THEN the detective who arrested me wanted me to sign a form saying that I was guilty of counterfeiting.....I refused to sign it, IT WAS NOT PART OF OUR DEAL......and then the detective escorted me out of the building saying he would see me in a few months.....when we are suppose to go back before t he judge to make sure we have al done what we are suppose to do.....

My lawyer has pretty much "disappeared" and will not return my calls or emails and when I go up there I am not allowed to see him or they say he is not in??????

I am unemployed and BROKE...can anyone advise me if what he cop did was legal????

How much do you still owe your attorney?

I have paid my attorney $1500....His retainer price.....

and have asked him if I owe him anymore money????? I have not received any other bill and the $1500 was to cover up until we went to a jury trial.....I have requested a bill and even asked my lawyer to call me about this matter and bill me...to NO avail.....

Instead of just showing up at your attorney's office unannounced, do it the civilized way - Make an appointment.

If you have complied with the requirements of your deal, then just wait for the next court hearing.
