How can I protect my child?

For a few months my daughter has been harrassed at school and school funtions. This matter has been brought to the attention of the school and the girl has been band from activities outside of school. Then the unthinkable happened, she finally followed through with her threat and along with assistance from a relative proceeded to attack my daughter. We filed a juvenile complaint right after the attack and then yesterday I receive in the mail that they have filed charges againest my daughter. There were 4 other witnesses at the time but they have been afraid to come forward for fear they will have charges brought against them too. They have now threatened to find where my daughter is volunteering her time this weekend and jump her there. I have to be a work all day and my husband is out of town during the week. Nobody seems to know what to do. What can I do to make them stop before my daughter is attacked and there is more then just broken glasses and torn close? Please I have a real bad feeling that the time is running short.

Okay, you need to go to your nearest domestic violence clinic or civil violence clinic and have them help you file restraining orders.

Keep good records and the best thing -- your daughter may have to stop going places by herself for a while. Once the restraining order is in place, show the school so they have security around your daughter at all times/escorts.
