My boyfriend had a misdemeanor in Illinois...anyone know how long that stays on his record?

It will stay on his record for life unless he gets it expunged. If he hasn't been in any additional trouble, do a search on that states laws regarding it (time period, types of crimes allowed to be expunged, filing fees ect.).
