I am not a forger but being accused

What is the name of your state?Illinois, St. Clair Co.undefinedI went to a local check cashing facility and there was a man there with a 307. dollar check. He asked me If I could cash it for him> We asked the check casher if it was ok and i gave the man his money. Now I am being charged with fraud. I spent 36 hours in a holding cell with no bond. I had to finally post 500.$. I am a mother of 3 , and an EMT student with no priors Please help me heather
