What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Illinois

I had posted an article on a message board and someone replied to it kind of angrily because he disagreed with it. So, because I was being juvenile, I posted his email address on a website that he was looking for dates and would be willing to do dirty things. I admit that I was being young and stupid but now he emailed me and said that he can charge me with a felony and I could get into a lot of trouble. I might even go to jail. Is this possible? I'm not able to sleep because I can't believe my life could be ruined over a stupid prank like this. I did apologize but I'm not sure what he'll do. Does anyone know anything about this?

Oops! I'd call a lawyer Monday for a free consultation.

To lighten you up, a woman got mad at he ex for not paying alimony or child support so she posted his name and phone number on a gay bullentin board offering anytime free phone sex. Of course, she did it at a cafe, used a hotmail addy with fake info, and they never prosecuted her.

It might be a crime, but more likely a small claims case. I saw a People's Court case when an eBayer posted something about the seller selling pornos (he sold toys) on his feedback and the only damages he got was $1,000.

Personally, regardless of law, what is the worst thing that would happen--he'd get a date?

Which felony? I don't think that is a crime. Even for a civil suit he would have to show damages.
