From Arkansas :

I design law enforcement software for use by police departments. All software must be designed in a special
way after jan.01,2003 . Ok, I went to download.com and
tried to download some police software to view it and
see what changes ( if any ) that they made.It would not
finish the D/L . So, I went to the software's web site and
tried to D/L it there -- no luck --- I then sent an email to
the site requesting the software. They emailed me back
saying they would fix the D/L problem. While waiting,I went
to their download request form and filled it out thinking maybe
this might work.I used what I thought was fake information.
Well, this did not help, but my question is....would this be
criminal impersonation to obtain software, even though
it free ???
*** Thanks for ANY replys***
