Ineffective assistance of councel?

1st ever offense: Arrested on warrant alleging felony possesion of cannabis with intent to sale. In fact did not possess felony ammount, nor could intent to sale be proven.(My sandwich bags were seized as only supportive evidense) Public defender never advised to fight charge, only to accept plea to reduced charge. Might I have a case to get conviction overturned?

wow be careful take your attorneys advice and take plea bargain .My son didnt and decided not to take the plea and even though he never had any felonys he got 10 years .Beware
