I have a friend, He's a 14yr old kid in CA.
He's being bullied by a 35yr old name in GA via the internet.
The man is telling everyone this kid hacked his email account and that he has filed police reports against him and with isp. We all play an interactive video game together. The kid is scared and is being harassed as bullied by this man.
I keep telling the kid to ignore him, but the harassment and comments are getting more frequent and more violent in content.

Is there something the kid should do? Check with the police to see if a report has really been filed? the kid is scared to ask but swears he's innocent of any hacking attempts and has only beat him in the game to upset him.

what can we do?
:?

It is a little early for the Friday edition of FA Jeopardy, but I can't resist.

I'll take guessing for $1,000

seeing how I had just registered to ask this question, and that was the post that came out first - it's a serious issue to me, and find senior members making jokes around it is not professional or impressive to say the least.
Hard to recommend this site to those who need help - when these were the replies i recieved.

it was a serious reply. the parents are the ones that need to do something. they are the ones with the legal authority to take action.
