What is the name of your state? TX

I have a two part question:
1) are records automatically sealed for an adult who committed a misdemeanor as a minor

2) if such records were sealed, how can one have them opened?

im not really sure what class mesdemeanor it was, however, it was criminal mischief he was charged with. no time served, just a small fine

I'm not an attorney, but I believe that yes, all records belonging to minors are sealed.

Also, I didn't think that there were any circumstances where a minor's record would be 'unsealed.' Just my uneducated opinion. Hope you find your answers soon!
