What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
If you have 2 equal VP's of a company and one is caught embezzling ( by definition of state law) The 2nd VP does not disclose this to the CEO & owners of the company but decides to make arrangements for repayment and asks that it "stay in the office". Is this an appropriate action or aiding and abiding? Is he guilty as well for not disclosing this to those that lawfully in-trusted? If an employee is aware & does not disclose are they guilty? If so will something in writing from the VP that caught it stating the employee was aware & expressed concern release any liability or would it take revealing it to someone higher (since the second is covering it up) to stay within the law.
Thanks In Advance!
