Battery in Illinios

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? IL

At a church you have a male pastor and his female assistant. He is enamored with her. She goes to him for prayer and counseling because she is struggling with some personal issues, including some difficulty with her husband. He tries to capitalize on the situation by speaking ill of the husband, asking her to the movies, even kissing her at the church (no sex occurred, she put the stops to his advances). However, during the course of this 'relationship', he came to the conclusion that she was possessed or demonized by some evil temptress spirit he called Jezebel. Being in a vulnerable position, and being somewhat nieve and simple minded, the female assistant believes him. He convinces her that she needs to be prayed over, or delivered, from this evil spirit. He takes her off church grounds to a location where three individuals, including the pastor and his brother, take turns for 16 hours trying to exorcise this so-called demon. During the deliverance session, they tie her up using the sweatshirt she is wearing and force her mouth open to let the demon out (to the extent that her gums bleed). In the days that followed, the female assistant was afraid to be pulled over by the police while driving her car, for fear they would think her husband had been beating her due to all the bruises sustained during the deliverance session. When the woman finally comes to her senses, she is so embarrassed and humiliated by what transpired, that she doesn't speak of these details until nearly one year later. Might this pastor and/or his brother and the third individual in attendance at this deliverance session be guilty of battery? What is the statute of limitations for battery in the state of IL?
