This is a pretty complicated situation. I'm not looking for recommendations, but really just a direction to look to. Laws established on the issue, or even simular situations that may be in the news, for example.

I have been in a mature chat room for some time now, in this chat there has been a history of minors that have tried to get involved, but we would make them leave.

This site has been unadministrated for some time now, and has only recently been pickdd up by me and a few others. One of our big concerns is, not so much minors, but those who are legally able to engage in sex with others due to their state or country laws. Because of the complexity of this issue, and how much more so it's getting, i decided to make this account with this site to bypass stupid questions of whether it is alright to role-play or do any sexual activities with a minor under xamount of circumstances.

I would like to know what laws, whether it be state, federal or some international thing, would i be able to use to argue the point that anybody under the age of 18 should not be allowed in there regardless of their local laws.

Why? Your chat room, your rules. Just say no.

My room my rules, i suppose would be a good way to go about it. Unfortunately, this room was not administrated for a long time. I don't look at it as my room, and only those who are new to it do. I'm still going to be weeding them out, but i want something fend off any negative responses.

In that case, you really don't have much of a say. If you don't like your fellow chatters, feel free to start your own room.

Some links with information on adult websites and what is allowed and what can get the owner/operator and users of these sites in trouble legally:

"Defending the Internet Sex Sting Case," by Anthony J. Colleluori, for GPSOLO Jan/Feb 2010 issue:
http://www.americanbar.org/newsletter/publications/gp_solo_magazine_home/gp_solo_magazine_index/colleluori.html

"Adult Material" legal guide for bloggers, from the Electronic Frontier Foundation:
https://www.eff.org/issues/bloggers/legal/adult

It is important for Mistrago and other visitors to adult websites to know that many of the users on these sites are undercover government agents. You might think you are communicating with a 15 year old girl when in fact you are communicating with some old guy in a suit in a Washington DC office. And the international community is united in fighting child trafficking and child prostitution and child pornography on the internet (and elsewhere).
