What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?Michigan

I was just wondering what kind of things that i might expect being that i got an MIP the other day and have never got in trouble before. I know someone that knows a lawyer that could get it removed if i do not get in trouble for 6months but it would cost $300, i am a 20year old college student and dont really have the money to spare. what my main concern is, if i just go to court will the fines be more than this or should i go with the lawyer? thank you.

Are you planning on getting a job where a criminal record might be of concern to your employer?

If not, then go to court by yourself.
