Missing check endorsementOregon Hi. I recently received a check for 780 in the mail from my home/auto insurance company. I was expecting a check from them on an overpayment from my previous statement. This check made out to myself and my ex-wife, and was not the check I was expecting, and I did not know what it was for. I signed it and deposited this check without her endorsement, presuming this was ok. This check was cleared by my bank. My ex is now accusing me of a crime. Have I committed a crime? Can I be arrested? What recourse do I have? What recourse does she have? |

| my suggestion would be to resolve it with her and pay her half of what the check was for. How did she find about the check and what was it for? |
