my 15 year old son vilated his prbation but that is all

my son got on probation for a/b it was almost up it happen in Salem ma and I ask for his probation to be trasfer to Lynn Mass and they did do that but now he stoled something and the probation offier in Salem is trying violate him, how can he do that when he is not his probation officer anymore, I don't understand our system anymore,what can I do ? this probation officer doesn't not like my family anyways and has bad mouth my kids and so on. thank you if you can help me

My response:

Oh, brother . . .

Okay, look, every parole officer is just that, an "officer". They are all officers of the law, sworn to uphold the law, and to enforce the law. It makes no difference who the officer is, or whether he's currently your son's parole officer. If your son violates his parole, the previous town STILL has jurisdiction over the matter. All the first town did was to allow a transfer - - they didn't give up jurisdiction over your son.

And, besides, any parole officer can "violate" your son when he commits another crime, and send your son right back to prison where he belongs. Obviously, your son is ignorant and doesn't belong in a free society (and probably you and the rest of your family).
