Bipolar + illegal drugs = nothing but trouble

Unfortunately , persons with those kinds of disorders are at a higher risk of abusing drugs and alcohol .

Often times the meds prescribed by the Drs. have uncomfortable or intolerable side effects ( not saying drugs and alcohol can't have the same ) , but these patients try to self medicate themselves .

Consequences are Jails and institutions are filled with the mentally ill .

Society isn't going to give them a free pass .
