What is the name of your state? FL

My husband was given 2 years for failure to registar. Last week was told that a sentence from 2005, on which did time in TX with a concurrent charge in FL, was nul and void on the time he did because TX let him out to early and all the time that FL wanted had not been completed. My husband thought that since TX let him out the time was done and reason for the thought was that TX took him to FL for the sentece. Now FL is demanding that he do all the time that they gave then to be done now due the "glitch in the system that happened". Is it leagal for them to wait 16 months to come back and say now you have to do all this time after you finish for this failure?

Sex offenders don't get (very much) early release credit.

Good for Florida for realizing Tx released a sex offender too quickly.

He can, correctly, be required to finish out the time in prison.
