Thank you for reading! I'm in Ohio and was given an Obstruction of Justice ticket for telling an officer that I lived in a house that I did not when he was issuing a noise violation (I was just going to take and pay the ticket). Anyways, the proper procedure for the crime is to take me in a book me, which he did not. He just cuffed me and made me sit in the car for a while to scare me, then let me go with the ticket. Since he did not follow proper procedure in charging me with this crime, should I fight it? Please help!!!!!
