hi friday night me and a couple buddies took the train to downtown chicago, one of the kids i was with was stupid enough to break a glass casing on the train and stole a flashlight. he took off and me not knowing what he did didnt run. so me and another friend got caught up for it. we were taken to jail and had to spend the night there. we are being chraged for criminal damage for something we dind't do. the only thing i am guilty of is being with the person who did it. i have court aug 5. and i leave for school out of state aug 11 so i do not knwo what to do? should i get a lawyer or something to come with me?
