There really aren't details. Some friends and I were talking about a tv show we saw. In the show the DA put a witness that he had called and when the witness testified the DA realized that the witness was lying. The DA told another DA that he was required to report it to the judge. Never got to see the end so we don't know if its tv rules or real life rules.
