What is the name of your state? Michigan

In your experience of researching some insanity cases, if the accused is found not-guilt by reason of insanity, are they immediately held for psychiatric treatment?

Input would be appreciated...

Thanks

And guess what?? In some cases, the guilty party has his 'mental illness' treated until cured.... and then transferred to the state prison for the remainder of his sentence.
