What is the name of your state? OH Recently my brother in law got pulled over for not wearing his seatbelt. He had his 17 year old girlfriend in the car with him so they called her parents. They immediately told the parents about any violation he had. (speeding ticket, etc.) The parents never asked for this information. Are they allowed to do that? Also he was pulled over 4 times in 2 days by the same police officer all 4 times. We think this police officer has something against him. Is this harassment? Any information that anyone can give me will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

A person police and driving record are considered public information and anyone can use this information. As long as the officer told the truth, he did nothing wrong.

giving record information

Is it still public information even though he has not gone to court and been officially charged with it? Thanks for the info.

Yes, the police routinely "have it in for" specific citizens. All the time........

Maybe your brother in law committed (4) traffic violations in (2) days... Its not the police officer's fault if he was just in the right place to catch him doing it...
