What is the name of your state? New Mexico

My question has to do with a business idea me and my associate are considering. I have done a little browsing on conwaygreene.com and it appears to be pretty commonsense stuff. I just want to cover all the bases and my ass as well.

1. During the production of original materials of a pornographic nature; i.e. filming two persons engaging in intercourse, fellatio, etc., will I be commiting any crimes, or will my actors be guilty of any prostitution crimes or anything of that nature?

2. How do I protect myself if one of the actors/actresses contracts an std during the course of their being employed by me and performing the duties of that employment? Can I require them to sign a waiver of some sort?

3. What sort of records do I need to keep in regards to the age of my actors?

If anyone could offer some advice I would appreciate it. If this post is offtopic please move it to the appropriate section of the forum.

A: Yes, filming a crime doesn't make it not a crime.

A: Buy about 100 million dollars or so of liability insurance. Waivers, while you should get them, usually are pretty worthless.

Q: What sort of records do I need to keep in regards to the age of my actors?
A: Very good ones.

1. How do the bigger porn companies avoid this issue? Im not going to pick up hookers off the streets, of course. Im talking about hiring actors. Is it still considered prostitution?

2. ................ Really now? 100 million dollars worth? Say it ain't so... There isn't any other way?

3. Copies of birth certificates, SS numbers, driver licenses, and generally whatever else employers keep on their employees?

4. Are you a lawyer?
