Public Intoxication

I live in california and i got arrested last night for public intoxication i only had a few beers while watching a football game after the game my daughter and my neice wanted to go outside and play so i went out to watch my niece and daughter wanted me to push them on there scooters and so i did well i ended up getting tired and layed on the grass for a couple of minutes and the neighbors call the police i told the police officer what was going on but he took me in any way..... Is there anything i can do??? Please help
