What is the name of your state? CA

I asked this question in my original posting, but I don't think it has been read, because it's kind of old.

Do infractions show up on records, just like misdemanors do?
What's the difference [in the record]?

Since in CA infractions tend to be traffic violations, they would be visible on your DMV record for 7 years. They would not likely appear on your DOJ Criminal Offender file unless originally filed as misdemeanors and you were booked.
