Suppose there are 3 parties. The first party pays money to a second party through wire communication. In return, the second party lies about, or misrepresents, the first party to the third party.
Could anyone charge the second party with wire fraud? Could anyone charge the first party with wire fraud?
If anything I would imagine the third party would sue the first party- but I have no idea.
