Washington nw. After I was charged with child molestation 2nd degree and 2 counts of possession of minors depict in sexual activity (Child porn) on my computer, I read through the police reports and could not believe with my own eyes what the detectives wrote. First of all, the images on the computer are obviously adults but the disturbing title says otherwise. And that is why I downloaded it to see if anyone would put that stuff on the web. My wife's niece who is suppose to be the alleged victim wanted to speak on my behalf at my 1st appearance before a judge when I was took to jail. It has been 4 weeks since my new defense attorney made a request to see the videos but the prosecutor is taking his sweet time with it. Or maybe just stalling for time knowing once my attorney takes a look at the videos, they'll discover that the detectives are full of sh--. When they interviewed my wife's niece, they interviewed her at a park like 6 flags. On the report, the detectives say that due to the rollercoaster, the background noise, and planes flying overhead drowned out the interview. So he wrote a creative story that made me look like a monster. When I told my wife, she asked her niece and the niece said that she never said those horrible things the detectives wrote. I don't know what to expect? What if the prosectutor stalls for more time? I need to get this out of the way because I'm also involved in a Child dependency lawsuit. The state already took my daughter from my wife because my wife won't admit that I'm a threat. Heck, I even passed a lie detector test from the best.?????????????

Sorry. Okay if my niece tells prosecutors and my attorney (before trial) that nothing happened and that she didn't make those statements, and when they take a look at the images on my computer and expose the lying detectives, can the charges get dropped? Or do we have to go to trial? The reason I ask is my attorney's trial fee is $50,000. I already spent $55,000 including bail.

First, I can't believe the officer would write a report saying he could not hear his owninterview with the victim and made stuff up. Second, if the photos were not of children, then they would not have charged you and pursued the charges because they do look at the evidence first. Third, child victim often recant when confronted with adults about what they reported because they feel intimidated. A judge will not be impressed with the recantation, and a jury might not either. Fourth, the combination of child porn and child molestation is deadly in a jury trial.

 What kind of excuse is that to be downloading such crap? That's just plain sick.

I agree with Calatty, the niece probably felt embarrassed when confronted by her Aunt.

Depending on all the evidence they have gathered on you, I wouldn't look for this to go away anytime soon.
