This should be an easy question for anyone knowledgeable on this topic. A friend of mine was abused as a child and is worried that since more than seven years have passed she may be unable to prosecute. The she is only 19 now. How does the statue (right word?) of limitations work in cases where the victim was so young? Thanks!
