What is the name of your state? Arkansas

I was arrested for shoplifting in 2006, and since then I have that part of my record sealed (or expunged) in april or may of this year. I have gotten married and had a child since the arrest. I want to get a job but I am afraid the employer can access the information. I know any place that you have to take care of a child or senior has access to my record. And I only found this out after I was fired from a job where I was taking care of children. I really enjoy working with children and taking care of people. Nobody told me i would never get to have a job doing what I loved to do. I know I messed up.
What I want to know is how long will it be on my record?
Will I ever be able to work as a CNA or even a teacher??
Do I have to wait so many years before it doesn't matter anymore or will it be there forever?

p.s. I've already had this expunged (or sealed) off my record.

I am very surprised you even had your record sealed/expunged so soon.
Normally for first time petty offenders, they must wait for at least three
years, then petition the Court to have this done.

You say it has already been sealed/expunged, but you did not say that the
Court granted it. if so, you would have paper work from the Court stating
such.

You can do your own background check, by going to your locale Police and Sheriff
Departments. The costs vary.

A word to the wise, it would behoove you to never ever get into any kind
of trouble with the Law.

Could have been a minor who came of age.
