What is the name of your state? Michigan my son lives in Texas. My son's identity was stolen to take out a student loan when he was in college. I have to go to a hearing were and my son is out of state. What form can he use to fill out for his identity being stole?What is the name of your state?

Your son will have to appear at the hearing, it will be the only way he can prove who he is.

If his personal identifying information was fraudulently used to obtain money, credit, etc., then he needs to make a crime report. He needs to start with the local law enforcement folks and then take it from there.

Most fiduciary institutions will require a report be filed before they will take steps to correct the issue.
