A friend of mine got arrested for selling a pipe to a minor at a glass festival 5 years ago in Virginia. His Probation was going to expire in september. It's a type of Probation where you don't need to see a probation officer.
A few weeks ago he got a citation for not having proper license when operating a business in West Virginia which was not a jailable offense.
Specific question: Can someone get in trouble (jail time specifically) if they have a probation but get a non jailable offense such as a citation for not keeping proper business records and not being licensed?
