Storage unit break in

Texas. I have a storage unit in my name only and my ex and I both have belongings in the unit. I have agreed to let him get his stuff out but I wanted to be there because he has stolen from me previously and we have some boxes with mixed belongings. Do I have any action if he goes and picks or cuts off the locks and takes everything?

That is surely Indicative of him doing it but in itself not usually adequate to convict
