What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? FL
Need some advice: Just received a Subpoena for a non-jury trial in regular mail.
State of FL v. a person (not me).
I guess it might be a case where I saw a motorcycle "flying" of a highway and helped the guy (called 911 etc.) about 2 years ago.
I am not familiar with this.
1. The appointment is January 26th. This is during the time that I will be in Capetown, South Africa for a meeting that I set up. I am flying 5 people in. Flights are booked, accommodation is paid for.
Do I have to cancel all this (at my cost)?
2. The appointment is at 9 AM. Travel time from my home would be around 3.5 to 4 hours.
Do they expect me to travel there in the morning?
