What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? I live in Florida and i got a ticket for turning at the red light without stopping first. I paid the ticket and got a letter saying i still owed on that ticket. I called and i found out that the police officer entered the wrong amount on the ticket, and i paid the remaining amount. Almost a year later, a got a letter saying my licence was suspended because i did not paid the total amount for that ticket! Well, I went to the DMV and explained the situatio and got my licence reinstated but now my insunrance went up because my driving records shows a suspended licence! How can I clear this situation and prove tha having my DL suspended was a mistake?
