What is the name of your state? Ohio
I altered a doctors release by omitting the "sit down" job only part so that I could return to work. I did not defraud anyone out of anything, and I was terminated for doing this. Part of my company's basis for terminating me other than it was wrong and a firing offense, was that they said they were advised that this was a criminal offense (class D felony). Does anyone know whether this is true or not and if so, what does the law read in regard to this?
