I am due in court for theft charges. I took $150 that was sitting on a dresser at a house party. The money was somewhat old. At first the person said it's worth was $1500, so I am being charged with a gross misdemeanor. But now they admitted the money is actually only worth $150. Will my charge be reduced from a gross misdemeanor to just a misdemeanor when I'm in court??
