What is the name of your state? KY

My son left his book bag unattended in the school hallway. A fellow student (ex girlfriend) came by and emptied the contents on the floor as a "prank" and left it there. This was witnessed by a friend of my son. As result some items were stolen. Can the ex-girlfriend be held accountable at all? Thanks for your answer.

sure she can. Did you ask your son's friend why he/she didn't pick up the stuff the ex-girlfriend tossed on the ground?
