Before we were dating, my boyfriend was in Texas for a year with his ex-girlfriend. He has been home in Pennsylvania for the past 3 months.

When he left TX he had to sell some items in order to get money to drive home. Not thinking straight and very depressed he pawned some of his personal items but also a necklace that belonged to her.

We just found out that she is pressing charges and has already retrieved her necklace back with the receipt from the pawn shop with his signature on it. He admits that he took it and pawned it. There is no excuse for that and it was wrong but she kicked him out with no money and 32+ hours from his home

My question is what happens now?? He is here in Pennsylvania and she is down in Texas where she pressed charges. Will he have to go back to Texas? Is he going to be charge with theft? He has NO police record, has NEVER been in any trouble....what do we need to do? The necklace was worth no more than $500 and she does have it back.

What can he be charged with? Were totally clueless about any of this...please help!! Thanks so much.
